“With more than 30 years of experience as a physician and educator, I have had the privilege of caring for patients across the lifespan, from neonates and children to adults and senior citizens, in both inpatient and outpatient settings. My care philosophy is rooted in creating a friendly, compassionate environment that supports optimal care for each patient and their family,” said Dr. Jahrmarkt.

“Quite simply, my greatest joy comes from serving others, whether they are in crisis, in pain or thriving, and helping them identify and live their best life. Family medicine is a natural fit for me, as I deeply value caring for individuals within the context of their families. I also have a special interest in providing hospice care, ensuring dignity, comfort and compassionate support during the final stages of life.

“Outside of medicine, I enjoy reading and studying the Bible, playing and watching sports with my sons and traveling with my wife. I have visited more than 40 countries and recently returned from a mission trip to Southern Africa. I also enjoy early morning walks along the river near our home, capturing the sunrise in photographs whenever I can.”
