Theresa Acebo, APRN, AGNP-BC, is committed to treating patients with the same compassion and respect she would want for her own family. “I believe in seeing each patient as a whole person, involving them in their treatment decisions to achieve the best possible outcomes,” she said.

“My passion for healthcare stems from a deep desire to serve and support people on their journey to better health. My goal is to make a meaningful impact in their lives, especially during their most vulnerable moments.”

With over 20 years of experience as a critical care nurse, Theresa has gained invaluable expertise in patient care. She also spent a year in mobile wound care before transitioning to outpatient wound care, a field she truly enjoys. As an adult gerontology nurse practitioner, she cares for patients 12 years and older.

“I chose to specialize in wound care because I find fulfillment in wound debridement and guiding patients through the healing process. Wound care is a collaborative specialty that involves a multidisciplinary team, fostering both professional growth and improved patient outcomes.”

“I usually spend my days off with family and friends, either exploring new restaurants or catching up on new shows,” said Theresa. In addition to English, Theresa is fluent in Tagalong.
